#BFC530 and #TLAP. I often find myself spending the first 15 minutes after I wake up scrolling through Twitter to see what my peers are doing. I have learned so much from these people I do not know. Sending a special thank you- to everyone I follow!
Recently, I finished my second week of training at The Feast, a local week of PD for teachers on technology. One of my FAVORITE sessions to teach is on Planbook.com because teachers immediately see how it can transform their planning and teaching. I happened to Tweet to Feasters about the recent updates Planbook made that will make collaborating with other teachers so much easier, adding @planbookcom. The Tweet was seen my one of Planbook's developers who investigated what The Feast was by going to our website (thefeast.org) where he learned that this week of PD was taking place in Bloomington. He was living in Normal, our twin in the Twin Cities! Long story short, he got in touch with our Tech Director (and guru of the Feast) Jim Peterson, who set up a visit to our next week of The Feast! Who knows, maybe he will donate a couple of free subscriptions!
